Quite understandably, every music radio and TV station has devoted most of the last 24 hours to working through Michael Jackson's back catalogue, but if any of them wanted to take a different approach, I thought it'd be a good idea to think of an alternative playlist of songs which aren't actually his but are connected to him in some way - cover versions, guest vocals, parodies, that kind of thing.
So far I've thought of:
Alien Ant Farm - 'Smooth Criminal'
Rockwell - 'Somebody's Watching Me'
USA For Africa - 'We Are The World'
Marti Webb - 'Ben'
Weird Al Yankovic - 'Eat It' and 'Fat'
Lydia Murdock - 'Superstar'
The Jacksons with Mick Jagger - 'State Of Shock'
Dave Lister - 'She's Out Of My Life'
Big Fun - 'Blame It On The Boogie'
Full Intention - 'Shake Your Body Down (To The Ground)'
Can anybody think of some more entries which fit the bill?
