2008 Series is being repeated

Not sure if this has been said already, but just seen an advert on TV to say that the whole of the 2008 series, from start to finish, is being shown again on Watch (from UKTV).

It starts next Friday (3rd July) and is on from 8pm-10pm, with all the performances and results in one show.

So, thats Friday 3rd July from 8.00pm on Watch

P.S. If you're not sure, then Watch is on Sky channel 109 and Virgin Media channel 124.

I hadn't heard that so many thanks for info; there are certainly some dances I would like to see again.

I reckon that was a rather heavy editing proccess eg. getting rid of voting numbers on screen, and cutting bits out like when Tess or Brucie say 'on last night's show' when they do the results.

Me too. I think it was the best series ever.

Maybe they will show earlier series if this gets good viewing figures.

Only the same as what ITV2 does with American Idol. Or indeed when Watch has screened Dancing With The Stars!

I wish they'd repeat the earlier series', so much purer and unspolit. They were the classics.

I would love them to repeat 4 and 5 (especially 5). And the earlier ones actually as I never saw them. I'd be really interested in series 2 with Jill winning.

So yeah...all of them please!

Which week (in SCD6) was Enrique Iglesias there? Id love to record the pro dances from that week as its the only show I dont have.

Please don't say we're all going to get wound up again by reliving the judges' appalling behaviour ...

Frankly, a weird decision. They should have repeated earlier series.

I am another one clamouring for a repeat of Series 5!

I agree, and fewer people have seen them so possibly they'd pick up more viewers that way.

Big Brother 2007 was terrible! Why are people saying it was the ULTIMATE series, it wasn't. Don't be silly. You are all confuzzling me so much. It was bad. Davina wore a red dress on the final though

Its Strictly that is being repeated NOT BIG BROTHER... eh?

ETA: Anyone think this poster has got lost in here?

ETA2:... ok so the OP's post to open this thread didnt specifically say that it was a "STRICTLY" series being repeated... but you would think that because it was in the "strictly" part of the forum that people would be able to add 2 and 2 and make 4 - not 6, 8 or 16?
