Back in the day, pre-internet where now lyrics are much more readily accessible, did anyone often wonder when listening to a Michael Jackson song - just what the hell is he singing? I did, frequently, and I'm sure I wasn't alone.

Singing along to Smooth Criminal as a kid was impossible as I hadn't a clue what he was singing apart from the "Annie are you ok" bit

oh yeah i get what you mean im 19 but even now i still dont know some of the verses well to smooth criminal when i'm singing with it ,an there's a part towards the end of a song called who is it which he says something like aint it another brother but its done vey fast. I need to check out the lyrics soon.
Oh it must have been hard for you OP back in the day without the internet, as michael was known to singing songs without you sometimes knowing what he actually says aww bless

Up until reading your post, I always thought the lyric was Are you ok
Personal problems aside, Michael Jackson was a musical genius and may he rest in peace.
