Lisa Voted Most Annoying Woman Of 2003 By FHM Mag.

From ic Wales ...

'LAST year's Welsh Big Brother evictee, Lisa Jeynes, has won plenty of votes in a new poll - but for the wrong reasons.

Men's magazine FHM found that the Barry blonde was "the most annoying woman of 2003".

And the unashamedly laddish magazine could not resist a poke at Lisa's homeland while announcing the results.

"Maybe it's a Welsh thing..." mused FHM, next to survey figures showing that Lisa had captured 45% of the votes in the Annoying Woman category.

She more than doubled the score of another reality TV celeb, Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, who scored 18% in the unpopularity contest.

Balloon-breasted model Jordan came second in the poll with 24%.

Big Brother contestant Lisa was a late arrival to the house last year and could not hide her excitement at first.

"I got lost on the way to the pub and found myself here," joked the 35-year-old.

But things turned sour after speculation grew that she used to be a man.

Boozy confessions and accusations created tensions with other housemates, and she was evicted after just two weeks.

Fellow contestant Scott admitted that "in the nicest possible way" they all wished Lisa had never entered the house....'

Like her or not, and I'm not sure which way I stand, she was an interesting character to watch. Most of the others I couldn't even muster the slightest of emotions up for.

Seconded ! Lisa was one of the few saving graces in a very dull BB4. Despite only being in the BB4 House for two weeks, she made a huge impact and is more talked about than Steph or Scott or Ray.

Some people just never got Cameron's quirky sense of humour, if he had been deadly serious in the house Jon would have ended up wearing a nice pair of Slush Puppies.

Ack! So unfair on Lisa.

Mind you it just underlines the fact that nobody can remember Stiff or Mush or Tania or the other wimmen whatever their names were.....

well no, mes - not if you insist in taking refuge in the literal all the time.

the following conversation could however have taken place in numerous pubs across the FHM voters land :

*what did you think of that Lisa bird then?*
*thought she was bloody annoying myself!*
*i know - she really needed throttling, didn't she?*

see - its called *banter* - its not actually a serious threat to kill someone.

if Cameron, or any other HM, was to ever seriously threaten to *kill* a fellow HM you'd be sure they'd be straight in there to prevent it, as I doubt it would be that good publicity.

considering thats all it was, I can't beleive you keep banging on about *threats* to *kill* her, as if he was some deranged murdering psychopath who needs locking up.

It still chills me to this very day....

is that really, honestly the considered opinion here - that given the chance Cameron really would have murdered Lisa?

or has it just become the BB folklore, and kinda cool to think that he might have, because there was *something in his eyes* gaddamit?

It's Forum Law. Proof by repetition is considered acceptable as cast iron evidence.

This is why I never attempt humour on this forum. I'm generally quite MOR to serious when I post and every now and again I try a little dig with subtle humour. I always fall flat on my face. Ah well.

This aint a dig at you, iain, I just think that events on a certain other thread are starting to get to me.

Just to add, there is nothing cool about thinking about someone maybe or actually killing anyone. Not at all.

But honestly I did find Cam a bit scary when he said it. I watched it and I know that the C4 edits were massively massaged (marvellous mumblings? meh...) but still, I'm not likely to forget it.

"It's only a game-show, it's only a game-show..."

That last bit is more a reminder to myself than to anyone else.

He could have bantered them to death if he was brave enough to say anything to their faces......

.......and what about the time he almost ripped Ray's arm off with that Chinese burn.

....what about the time he almost attacked a women after he'd had too much to drink?

I'm glad you've realised how futile it is Bystander

*sigh* how I've missed this argument.....It used to be a weekly affair...I'm almost nostalgic about it..

was that before or after the incident where a drunken woman apparently had a pop at him in a nightclub and he shouted her down.

just think what you could do with that sort of story if you were a newspaper editor...

Does this strike anyone else as odd ?

I mean if someone came up to me in the street in the last few weeks and said they were doing a survey and asked me who i found the most interesting, annoying, beautiful, talented, stupid or whatever person of 2003 the contestants from BB4 wouldn't even enter my mind

And I wasted nine weeks watching the damn thing

I'm amazed that 40-odd percent of blokes even knew who Lisa Jeynes was

Outside of our little BB world the minor characters from the show make no impact on the general public

How come so many people not only knew who she was but thought of her above all the really famous annoying women ?

Strange.

I must admit I'd forgotten about her too until I saw this thread ! I really couldn't care less about any of the BB4 contestants now and what they are doing...

...but probably only with the exception of Steph who I met at a book signing and I thought was exceptionally nice and cute in person. I wish her well.

Ah ah Iain...Unless you can actually prove that the story was maliciously altered then this is going to get us nowhere....
