Digitalspy's review of Children of Earth (small spoilers)
towers
28-06-2009
Digitalspy's review of episodes 1 to 3 is finally up and it looks like COE will be a success. There's a few spoilers in the review but nothing major, as they've left out the two biggest spoilers for episode 1.

Got to say, I'm really loving the word of mouth on this so far! (That and the fact we won't have very long to wait to buy the stories on Blu-Ray after the series airs either).

I posted this an another thread, but both Play, Amazon and BBC Shop now list the release date as the 13th July.

So even less of a wait now.

I seem to remeber Digital Spy saying that Demons was good, before it aired

The review for Torchwood has been backed up by everyone who's seen episode 1 and beyond. There hasn't been a single bad review.

I dont know about that, as much as I want to like it, there is something about the trailers that does not seem right to me.

I think the trailers have all been excellent. It seems to me you are determined not to like it already, which is sad....

I agree.

The move to BBC1 means that Torchwood has to become a little more slick and dramatic than it was on BBC2 and BBC3 (naturally) but the main heart of the show - the characters - ramains at the core of the story.

I would hardly say I was "determined" im just giving an opinon, its not the Torchwood team itself, its the other characters.

I was originally posting to quote just Play and Amazon, but then remembered BBC Shop, so I also checked there and found that they had also got the earlier release date (and then forgot to change the wording preceding the list.
