I don't usually eat that much red meat in one go (first time buying that shrink wrapped product anyway), it came in two slabs in the packet so felt slightly guilty about wolfing both the pieces down. But delishus.

That's from four years ago.

Are you a vegetarian? It seems that just about every single thing is dangerous and bad for you these days - either that or it's total bullpoo.

Red meat 'can raise the risk of cancer by 25 per cent' and is really bad for you to eat which is much more of a concern than the cholestral it contrains

I wish you'd stop taking threads off-topic. You're a vegetarian, we get it. You won't win friends by preaching at them

PS. it's cholesterol.

I knooow, thanks. My monitor causes cancer too. and my slippers.

hmm. it can raise cancer by that much. But I don't smoke so that could lower the risk too. cigarettes don't taste as nice with pepper sauce tho [guess].

The amount of cholesterol you eat isn't important. Its the amount of 'bad cholesterol' your body makes in response to eating the wrong stuff.

I didn't mean to be rude, I am also a vegetarian. I just found that meat eaters don't appreciate having your views forced upon them in a preachy manner, they're less likely to listen to you if you act as though you're superior to them for not eating meat. The OP wasn't asking if eating meat causes cancer.
