If that will be the case, then how big will the squad be??

Will they have 9 people for each individual position!

Well, I love the guy but he was quite slow last season. Maybe that was just because the United players hacked the legs off of him! I would hate to get rid of fan favourites. If Lescott and Terry come that would mean the end for Nedum and hes probably my favourite player. Also with the formation that Hughes likes playing in away matches what will hapen to Stephen Ireland?

That'll be a messed up team though. Can you imagine the different rotations they'll have to make.

Im honestly not trolling here but i really think you guys are changing too much too soon. As you say what happens to Ireland? And what about two new Centre backs? add in Barry and ALL the strikers and thats a whole team changed in less than a year. Its VERY hard to make that gel when everyone will be trying to impress and the team loses its identity.

Having better players doesnt always make a better team. We are the perfect example of that. John O'Shea has more medals than he can count and he is hardly a world beater!!! You should concentrate on three new players and leave it at that IMO.

The next thing we will hear is that thier oweners are campaigning for extra subs (say about 15! ), and a new system where you have rotating players, so that they can come off and then be allowed back on again all throughout the match!

That should just about solve their 50 man squad problems!

I think Rafa would love this sort of job, especially with 50 man squad.

I know your not trolling! I loved City last season. Yes, I thought that the defence and attack needed a bit of work but I loved the midfield as it was. Everyone thinks that City fans are just in it for the money but I`m hating the fact that we have money at the moment especially if Hughes isn`t going to use it sensibly. Seriously, what the hell do we need Adebayor for?

Are city planning to play 4 upfront? This is a genuine question because why else would they have 4 top strikers who are looking for 1st team football. Unless they're planning to convert one of them to a midfielder.

Probably. There are 6 strikers who will be wanting first team. I think we`ll need to have 30 players and 15 subs!

I would pay money to see Man City play Tevez, Robinho, Cruz and Adebayor up front. It could be incredibly entertaining or a complete mess.

Lastest tabloid bull$hit is that Adebayor is demanding £170,000 per week to play for City. I find that hard to believe especially as he is on about £80,000 at Arsenal.

How s that desperate and worried? If he was rubbishing everything without any constructive points then I would agree ... but yet again you appear to be trying to start an argument where there isn't one.

To be fair to Cantona, he's talking some sense. I'm worrried about Ireland and Nedum amongst others in this big new future, players like these are the identity of City, and while I'm happy to get Tevez and Barry, I'm starting to think that Adebayor is a step too far, while goodness knows how many millions for another 29 year-old (Terry) doesn't look good business to me.
Maybe I'm too sentimental. Deep down, I know Dunney's finished at the very highest level, and replacing him with an England captain is a true 'statement of intent' for Mr Cook's 'project', but you really get to know certain players like friends and family, and it will be a sad day when Dunney leaves.

Bit like when I was 9 and cried when I heard Malcolm Allison had sold Gary Owen and Peter Barnes to West Brom...

He was replying to a post that has said much the same as you.

Please at least follow the posts back. I gave my totally honest opinion on city. he isnt "talking some sense" compared to what i said.

Now I'm confused. I meant that you, Erique, were talking some sense. For a Red.

Even i knew that but Cantona is on the defensive as he is only on here to try and put a dampener on things.

He's a worried man.

That has nothing to do with Man City? So what i may have said doesnt matter.

I love the Old Firm i have never met anyone who took offence at what i said.

I could actually have a good OF discussion with you but the faux offence ruins it.

Nice to see you have got started as you mean to go on!

4 strikers used today, and 0 goals scored!

Why not use the other 5 strikers in your nect match, maybe you will get an own goal that way then!
