I met her a couple of weeks ago, and she seems keen to do it again (though of course wants a good partner this year - though don't they all ).
).
After Gary and Brian I'd say she's got a pretty strong case for a good partner! Although so have quite a few of them- the BBC need to get some stronger men in this time round!
I know nothing for sure but I think the tempation will be too great for her and she'll end up doing it. Before the last two years shows she's been unsure and ended up going for it, I don't think this year will be any different.

I don't think she'll be back considering she had a pretty rough ride 2 years in a row with her partners.
Why why why have the BBC not asked her to be a judge then?
I can't think she would say no for that kind of money and (lack of) time commitment.

Thanks for the link. BIG Brian fan. I really hope Karen returns as she's one of my favourites, i'd be sad to see any of the professionals go, but she has won Strictly so maybe there's nowhere left for her to go....

She said she "thinks" Karen has left, so I guess she doesn't know for sure. Either that or she's not allowed to say.

That's what I thought as well.
I think Karen will only come back if they promise her a good partner.
Its about time Karen and Lilia get good partners. Both have had to endure rubbish partners for two years now.

I've heard conflicting things about Karen but even if she doesn't come back as one of the professional competitiors it would've been great to see one of the professionals move to the judging panel Karen would've been great.

I think Karen & Camilla would be excellent judges but I think they need to take a year away from SCD & then come back. I think they would have conflicting loyalties if they went straight from Dancer to Judge.

No more so than Alesha though. I don't think a year away from the show makes Alesha less loyal to Matt.
Karen is a professional judge who has judged a good few of the pro dancers in professional competitions at one time or another. So I would have more faith in her ability to stay objective. Also she has her credibility as a judge to maintain, which she couldn't do if she was being obviously biased against one pro dancer or another.

Agree! Karen has judges several of the pro's during official competitions, so why not ask her to judge on SCD??
I still do not understand it..
I think Karen's probably judged all of the latin pros at some time, I can't think of any who she hasn't judged!

Last series when the rumours began about Karen leaving all I hoped was that she would become a judge this series.
Her credentials are huge and would be amazing and fair on the panel...unfortunately it doesn't look like this is happening so all I can say is that I really really hope she returns for another go at competing.
This is not a personal attack on Hayley but her dancing in comparison to that of Karen or Nicole isn't great so to thank that Hayley would remain and Karen wouldn't to me makes the show loose some of its appeal. I'm sure this is the case for most people who are dancers or know a little about dance...or even just watch??
