I'm sure most Tiscali TV subscribers (the sports enthusiasts of course) are very happy with this new addition.
I'm quite impressed with the amount of football they offer from across europe, I do hope they get the La Liga rights.
Could you clarify the situation with ESPN America? Is it to be a separate channel? If so which channel number is it to be on and when will it be available?

They'll never wrestle the La Liga rights from Sky.
TBH, looking at it, there's not enough content to justify a tenner a month - it's not really enough EPL, the rest is filler and there aren't any 'pack' channels. Preferred Setanta @£13 when club channels were bundled in.
Now LFCTV is still free on Satellite, there's not enough incentive to subscribe. I understand Arsenal has gone totally online and the Scottish channels have gone altogether as they were owned by Setanta.
I hope the bods at LFCTV are getting the viewing figures they require to ditch encryption and stay free and get funding from advertising / online subscriptions.
I have no doubt it could stay free with delayed coverage and with online subscribers getting live coverage.

While I am pleased that ESPN is now on the Tiscali platform, I totally agree with halfdog's comments. Tiscali/Talk Talk need to be more proactive and dynamic with their product in order to make it a credible alternative to other platforms.
With regard to ESPN America, according to a mod on one of the Tiscali forums, it will lauch as a channel within the next few days

seems to have bee fixed now by an overnight re-boot by Tiscali. phew. might have had to ask for my 1p back.

ESPN (UK) is on Channel 555
ESPN America is on Channel 566 (i think - im in work not in front of my TV)

We are watching ESPN through Tiscali but have chosen to cancel ESPN. I went to cancel it but i don't see it on the manage TV mixes page?

Doubt you can cancel it yet. Your 1p offer till 30/09 included 1 mth @£9.99 from then on as a minimum sub. You need to cancel on 01/10 and watch it for another month.
