They would have been doing a Keri Hilson song Knock You Down 13 years earlier in 1996, with Jacko replacing Hilson at the bedside.

it would have been SHITE

U2 - creative and somewhat original band
MJ - largely derivative dancer

I saw U2 back then and would have been appalled if they had Paedo-Monkey onstage with them.

personally I think it would have been a really stupid idea. Too many egos going on plus my own personal opinion after seeing U2 live they suck big time

I saw them back in the early 80s and they were a good indie-style band with a distinctive guitar sound.

MJ was just another footnote in the history of soul...

he is not fit to lick the boots of Marvin, Otis, Rev Al etc

they would have called him 'boy'

Don't think Bono would like it - Jackson is a bigger star basically and all the attention would be on him

Welcome to the rock scene, you get it at long last.

Rock music is all about ego's.

u2 are a great live band and Jackson was a great performer but it would of bombed like George Sampsons music career.
