Yummy! We caught lots of mackerel when we went fishing a couple of weeks ago. We actually sashimi-ed a couple as soon as they were caught but with the rest, we stuffed them full of fresh herbs - lemon thyme, bay and rosemary with a bit of lemon zest and bb-ed them for five minutes on each side. Delish!

If you want the least fuss then cover them in flour and fry in clarified butter. Serve with boiled spuds.

I fry the fillets with no oil in a really hot pan and serve them with a potato salad, beetroot and a good dollop of horseradish sauce
Delicious.

Filet them, cover in fine oatmeal and fry. Serve with new potatoes and a gooseberry sauce.

I have it baked on a bed of roasted med veg (red onion, courgette, tomatoes and sweet potato)

Bake the veg for 30 minutes then add the fish for another 25/20 - gorgeous
