I reckon it could be a swap to BBUSA for a UK HM...can you imagine..
i actually think your rather right as bb usa starts a couple of days before big brother uks 10th birthday which would give the housemates time to settle in! and with there being a mystry 13th houseguest it just all adds up as one of the big suprises they av been banging on about mabe the eviction that week will see a housemate being booted out but being sent to america!

It's possible, but the only way I could see that working is if C4/E4 were showing BBUS this year. And it doesn't look like they have any plans to do so

They said it will be someone we recognise. So no way it'd be a BBUK housemate, hardly anyone in America would know who they are.

They have another Meet The HouseGuests thing for the girls.

I do actually think this cast seems quite good.

Strictly speaking BBUK wont be 10 years old until next year (2000-2010) but they are counting it as this year, as it is the 10th Big Brother.

No the anniversary is this year because it's the tenth year of the show. Remember that 2000 acts as year 1.

Thats what I meant Even though BBUK first aired 9 years ago this summer, its the tenth year that they have been on, and they are counting it that way.

yes it's the 10th series, it's neither the 10th birthday nor the 10th anniversary.

In TV terms it is the 10th year, because it is the tenth year Big Brother has been on the air.
