Which is the best US forum to join?
Most of the spin-off sites seem to have forums. Is any particular one better than the others?

Personally, I'd stay as far away from Joker's Updates as you can, it's a den of homely crazy cat lovers that get WAY too over obsessed with a tv show. They lack a sense of humour as well. I've been banned from there every season since BB5 (don't mention my username on their forums unless you want an express ticket to Ban-land, seriously) It's only plus side it does have the most complete tabs on every second in the house but the forums are an abysmal dung heap of lonely housewives. If you are overly obsessed with BBUS and are a woman that hates men except for only objectification, then that place is your Mecca.Dingo's Hamster Watch is a fun site to bookmark. It's one viewers opinion on the show and the HMs. It has a forum but I've never used it though. The front page is worth a laugh for news and happenings. |

If you like real snarky postings, making fun of houseguests as well as liking them, you may like SurvivorSucks.
Although, you, as a poster, must have tough skin if you plan to post. It's a free for all in there!

Far too many of them get extremely biased and become factions of petty suburban mums and cat owners ripping neurotic in a way only Americans can,
and, punishing, deleting and banning any 'incorrect thinking', but, Mortystv was one of the last remaining foot soldiers and closer to DS in the sense of free speech and unbiased opinions: http://mortystv.com/big_brother.shtml *At least it used to be that way.. don't know and it hasn't been the same since Shockalot left. ![]() Just saw the BB USA cast and and have absolutely no interest in following it but good luck if you choose to immerse yourself into the mentality on those BBUSA forums. May you have a strong mind. |

SurvivorSucks is great, once you get past their hate for newbies. There are some very witty posters there, also a fair few trolls (but just avoid them like on any other forum).

Also the housemate Braden who is on this season, is a former poster on SurvivorSucks.
It was voted as one of the best fansites by Entertainment Weekly http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,2016...049_12,00.html |

Television Without Pity's forum rules are a little draconian, to say the least. You'll be expected to stay directly on topic with little room for tangents, and if you happen to dislike a particular recap for any reason, they don't take criticism well. Constructive or otherwise.
Robnoxious covered Joker's well. An added feature is that they love a good romance. Or an idea of a romance. Or a vague idea of an idea of a romance. There will be YouTube fan videos for these couples, no matter how imaginary or lolwtf. My absolute fav came from last season - a compilation of clips of Jesse and Michelle seated in the same room set to a drippy Sarah McLachlan number. This is no longer on YouTube and I am sad and somewhat relieved. As for Hamster Watch, the past few seasons have found Dingo (webmistress/curator) getting frustrated with the show and all but tuning it out, but when she's on, she's really on. |

BB9 was a terrible trainwreck and she hit it on the screws as to why. BB10 started out promising but after Brian's too early exit the show hit a lull until Dan heroed his way to a win. She wants entertainment just like all of us but is never too short with voicing her opinions to make the show better. She's usually right too. |

I have been on jokersupdates.com for many seasons now. It's a very complete site, including moment to moment updates all day and all night. There was once a very active set of video links covering all important events, which has been hobbled due to copyright threats from CBS.
However, this year, I expect the new flashback feature of the live feeds will lead to direct time and date references to all the action. I'm not an expert on any other sites, but I do know that you can watch the 24/7 feeds and discuss them as they are happening and very strong opinions are expressed about various houseguests and the whole show is enhanced by the website. So that's the one I use. |

The mods at Jokers seem like arseholes though and they take things a bit too seriously.
SurvivorSucks is the one for me, provides more laughs.

Everyone on SurvivorSucks is horrible.
Hence why I absolutely love it ![]() Don't think I'd ever have the courage to post there, though.

I've posted on pretty much all of them, used RealityTVWorld waaaay back, but it has since become not much more than a few odd threads and COMPLETELY dead. Switched my fancy to Jokers' during BB7 and more so in BB8, but for BB9 and BB10 I pretty much used RealityBBQ. BBQ has by far been the best one I've used, but they switched to a different forum skin to a new one that bugs the crap out of me. Anyways, I'd say SurvivorSucks is cool, but I've never posted there. I'd recommend RealityBBQ out of all of them.
