WOW! They are cheap.

Please, is someone willing to 'test-buy' from these people?

you put your credit card through a 'safe' online credit card processing company - appartently in their T&C's you would get your money back if no goods arrived!!!

sounds good to me!

Depends if your seller lies on the customs form, most do. Any legit company won't. Customs and VAT and and does get charged. Your goods will be held by Royal Mail or the courier will mail you an invoice. I once got charged a good 20 quid on some "cheap" CDs from the US.

Site's working for me... It does seem far too good to be true though!

If you used the £50 cash-back from the Samsung site you'd get the C100 free based one their prices...

Incidently, has anyone got their £50 cashback yet?

Sorry guys, but I'm not gonna be the first one to try this site since it I can't really afford to lose the money!

If the site really is based in Denmark you shouldn't have to pay customs tax since they are part of the EU...

If you are hit by Duty and Vat just add approximately 26% onto the total of what your costs.

if you read the bottom of the page it says 'Goods and services provided by Central Euro Pages (XX, Denmark)'

They have a Denmark based postal address in the contacts page.

So technically you shoudn't pay any VAT or Customs Duty as they're within the EU.

The thing about the bank statement sounds very dodgy to me! Have you EVER heard a reputable company asking for that?

Don't touch it I'd say...

A: it looks quite dodgey

B: if the prices are quoted in dollars then it could be from the US in which case then the phones would be incompatable with the GSM 900/1800 standard used here in the UK and the rest of the world.

C: what if something goes wrong? you can't exactly be returning your phone to denmark/USA/wherever, every time you need something looking at, repairing.

D: you would be better off paying that little bit extra and getting the phone from a reputable dealer here in the UK.

Just to add something else, the +1 country code at the beggining of that fax number denotes that it is in the USA.

EDIT:

I also don't think it would go amiss to call your credit card company and inform them of what has happened.

CentralEuroPages is the Bosnian equivallent to the British yellow pages.

The actual site is a Danish mobile phone dealer.

The creditcard processing company - who are indeed secure are American.

The phones will work even if they come from america - If they are triband.
