Can't Record ITV HD with Padding?

Am I correct in thinking this cannot be done? I did a test recording of The Bill last night on ITV HD and padded the end by 10 mins, when I checked the recording it had recorded in SD only.

Actually, you were lucky !!!

You are correct, if you try to manually pad an ITV HD timer, it reverts to SD, so you got the SD recording.

I say lucky, because ITV transmitted their "Unavailable Logo" screen for 63 mins on the HD stream last night, so at least you got to see the second part.

BTW, Autopadding doesn't work on ITV HD either. It will record the HD stream, but not pad it.
