As per the title. Just wondered if anyone else has experienced the same.

Same problem for me in Cambridge - receiving signal from Sandy Heath. I’ve had a look at the overnight logs and the problem is shown, although not why.

The download of the EPG starts at 03.18am after it has carried out all the usual preparations. The next entry is the rebooting after the download is completed. However what is missing are the two log entries showing that all EPG files have been received and that it is stopping the download.

So it appears that it starts the download but then goes straight to the reboot sequence. The last two days logs show that it finished at 04.00am and 04.01am respectively as opposed to the 03.45am usual time.

What it was doing between 03.18am and 04.00am I have no idea.

I have just checked and I have the same problem. I am also on Sandy Heath - so I wonder if it is a local problem?

No, I'm in Ipswich, receiving my signal from Sudbury.

Hi. I have an Inverto IDL7000 which uses the same 3.18am EPG download as the DHD4000 and am getting the same problem. This is currently being discussed on the Inverto Forum. I am on Mendip transmitter and another IF member gets the problem from Crystal Palace transmitter. It does appear to be nationwide.
Inview (the supplier of the EPG) have been contacted but have yet to reply.
It doesn't look good for July 16th onwards at the moment!!

Same here with a DHD4000 from Crystal Palace. No EPG after the 15th July.

Exactly 7 days later and it seems to have done it again! My overnight EPG download failed with the overnight log (see post #2 above) showing exactly the same entries as last week.

After failing for 3 nights last week, Inview managed to sort the problem out last Sunday – I wonder if we are going to see the same pattern again this week?

Has anybody else had this apparent repeat problem?

Hi John. Same here, no EPG beyond the 22nd. Exactly the same as last week. Odd!

Another "me too". I've only just got my DHD4000 back up and running after having the PSU repaired (it's been out of action for about 2 months all told), so I was hoping to get back into recording today - but I got no EPG last night either.

I'm on Winter Hill.

Same here, no EPG at all. Mendip transmitter, Inverto IDL7000M PVR.
I spoke to Inview on Friday (01606 812500) and they stressed that they were not aware of any issues!!!
I suspect that they will be getting plenty of calls on Monday morning.

Still no EPG update overnight.

The log shows nothing happening since 7/7/09. Despite that, at 0300 my box was flashing as usual and when I got up this morning it had shut down to "red light" as usual. Mux D working fine.

Attempt to e-mail Inview failed - just got a page of programming gobbledegook.

Just spoke to Inview and they are aware that there are problems, but didn't realise that the DHD4000 was affected. They are hoping to solve it overnight.

Mentioned the e-mail problem too.

Got a download last night. Now have EPG data to 27/7/09.

Even got a courtesy phone call to let me know that it had been sorted.

That is what I call "service". Rare these days.

Wow, they called you back - as you said an excellent level of service!

Thanks for calling them to alert them to our problem – and also to Tim who contacted them on behalf of Inverto owners.

I notice from the last night’s log that the EPG download was completed at the extremely early time of 03.35am. And that included obtaining the missing four days

Let’s now hope that this Wednesday night's download doesn’t repeat the two previous Wednesday problems.

Just to confirm that all is well on the Inverto front as well. Full 14-day EPG again.
I also had a call from Inview this morning to say that the problem had been fixed. The lady also said not to hesitate to call again if any more problems. Now that is service and full marks to Inview.

Yes, and I hadn't even bothered to give them my number. They had logged it when I called.

Are there still problems, or is it just my box that's playing up?

For the past 2 nights the logs indicate that the EPG download went as normal, but the Calendar indicates that I only have EPG up until Aug 3rd.

Also, yesterday when I came downstairs first thing, the DHD4000 light was fixed yellow and the fan was at max revs. This morning the light was not on at all, plus fan at max revs. In both cases a mains OFF/ON cycle brought the box back to normal.

Yes, I can confirm the symptoms. YLD and fan of blues yesterday - no lights at all today and no EPG download either day. Don't know about the fan speed, but I have never noticed it in over four years anyway.

So who is going to ring Inview this time? Volunteers?

Just tried the Contact page on the Inview web site, but still getting an error message on sending a mail.

For the record, I've been having the same issue with the YLD on my Thomson here in York this week too.
