It is most definately Brendan's turn for a rubbish partner, but just thinking of his and Lisa's showdance makes me wish he would get to the final again. Haven't laughed so much is ages

But the trouble was that he and Lisa were frequently overmarked and over indulged by the judges. Poor Erin was mugged of a semi final place by those four clowns in favour of L&B

Lisa was no where near the worst dancer but due to the judges IMO favouritism, Austin and Erin had to suffer which was highly unfair.
I don't dislike Brendan, its just he usually gets the model type woman. Although he did have to suffer with Fiona in series 3 its now series 7.

Maybe Claire wasn't a 'duffer' in the same league as Fiona, but she was pretty awful!

It is actually funnier if Brendan gets a duffer. And that final two last year should have been Tom v Austin= that is what most of the public wanted- the judges ruined the chances of a great final with their favouritism towards the girls

But she put Brendan in his place = and that was fun to watch

I agree Lisa was nowhere near the worst dancer. The problem for me was that both Brendan and Lisa believed they were as good as the judges favouritism implied - they believed their own hype. You can't really blame Lisa, but Brendan should have known better and reacted in a more modest or surprised manner - just my opinion of course!

Brendan needs to come down to earth with a duffer.

Yeah- he has had it too easy with his last celeb partners- poor Karen and Anton should get decent onres this year after two duffers for Karen and a steady stream for Anton- with the exceptions of Lesley and Patsy

I do wish they'd give Anton a potential winner - poor guy.

Totally agree When B+L did their jive Brendan went off in a massive strop because he believed it deserved so much more when their previous dance had a 39 which IMO was overmarked. He needs a partner which wont put up with his BS

Their Jive wasn't even as good as Jodie Kidd's.

Re Karen- if it is true about Teddy Sheringham doing it then I reckon she will get either him or Joe Calzaghe

I think Karen might be a bit small for them - aren't they a bit tall for her?

Karen is 5ft 5= add on the 3inch heels and she'd be 5ft 8 alongside Teddy who is 6ft

Joe is 5ft 11

I believe Karen will get a good partner this year but ive heard people saying there's lots of the female pro's who deserve a good partner which is true, but some of them are gonna be disapointed

What you were saying with Anton, I feel so sorry for him he so deserves a partner with a decent chance. It's not fair to always give him a older women contestant because he's a gentleman and is patient.

I agree - quite a lot of the female pros are definitely due a decent partner. Kristina and Lilia spring to mind too.

Kristina is almost dead cert 4 a good partner. When I think about it there's not one female pro which comes 2 mind which deserves a duffer. The only one I would have said is Camilla but she's gone.
The male pros maybe Matthew may get a not so good partner which in my eyes will be a shame

I'm hoping Flavia gets a good partner too. In three years she's only had one decent chance, so surely she deserves someone who looks like they are capable of making it past the first couple of weeks.
