Yeah, I reckon she'd nab a few votes for that catsuit alone!

I don't see why it needs to be loaded either way.

Couldn't all the pros be given someone who stands a reasonable chance of doing well (i.e. not obviously a 'duffer') but without any obvious advantage either (e.g. previous dance experience). i.e. couldn't we make the playing field at least seem to be as level as possible to start with? I know we can't tell for sure what someone will be like.

Surely in these days of celebrity culture, there must be enough available celebs to fit these criteria? I don't mean that everyone has to be young, or that they have to all be glamourous in appearance. And I certainly don't mean that they should have boring bland personalities. Just that they have a reasonable level of fitness and are not immediately write offs.

That would be my preference, but I don't see it happening. The last couple of years most of the male celebs have had hardly any potential compared to the women.

I agree with you katie the women celebrities have been much better overall than the men celebrities. I would like to see a more equal balance this year. After seeing some of the rumours though if they turn out to be true

At the very least the producers should be sure a male celeb can recognise a beat!

It's arbitrary however you do it. But I just think you can't give the same weight to series four as you do to series six. It was too long ago. Whilst it would make sense to go mostly on series six, I added series five as well because frankly almost all the male celebs of series six were duds! I don't think you can necessarily say Flavia was so much worse off than Karen, Lilia, Ola or Kristina just because she got knocked out first. None of them really had a chance to do much more than mask their partner's lack of ability. Although Phil was spectacularly awful!

I'm not saying it's not valid to look at series four as well, just to me it is not relevant enough because it was so long ago. You might as well say that Darren doesn't deserve a break this year after dragging Jessie around for four weeks, because he did win five years ago
