No, sorry Jun is not popular and definitely not by hardcore fans. Sorry Red but you are just plain wrong on this one.
Jun was not invited to All-Stars for the very reasons I was giving - she is considered a mistake and a very bad person nobody wants to talk about. Not fans, not staff and not by other former HGs. That she was not even considered as an invitation is not a 'joke' but is what demonstrates what Im telling you. I'd even suggest that if Janelle said something positive about Jun then that also tells you what a piece of shit Jun was. btw.. SurvivorSucks is really an 'Anti-fans' website and I can tell you I was just a little bit closer to this and really do know what Im describing to you. Honestly I am really just describing this more than giving you an opinion. (even though it is also my feelings too) |

I did not really like Jun, to be fair.
She is better than some winners, but in a big way she lucked out because she did pretty much nothing that season. She was like a BLOATED piece of rubbish that just floated its way to the finals because everyone had bigger fish to fry, and inspired people like Erika in later seasons to just sit back and do nothing the whole time. This is the kind of floating strategy that I DESPISE. Whatever you think of Alison, she was a strong competitor. She won lots of the competitions, was a big instigator in many of the alliances and made some big moves even though she was still a floater. So it is kind of a joke that Jun won that season because I remember very little of anything she did. I HATE the BB4 cast for picking Jun over Alison, because Ali would have been one of greatest BB winners OF ALL TIME. Second only to Dr Will. And maybe Dan. |

Alison was pure evil and nick-named 'The Beast'. She was not a very nice person either but would have been more deserving.
Yes, I did 'accidentally' talk to Jun a couple of years ago and felt ashamed of myself for doing so and made a point to avoid even having to acknowledge her in the room. Ugh. |

(even though it is also my feelings too) They invited Jun back last year for the "10 Seasons Anniversary" quiz, so they can't be that much bad blood between them. And Jun was considered for All-Stars but didn't make the final cut of 20 (I think it was 20...). I think if you check out most forums "Best Winners" lists, Jun is always in the top half above winners such as Lisa, Drew, Maggie, Boogie and Adam. |

I read hat Jun was called for Allstars, and she spoke to the producers about competing, but they didnt select her, which is a shame, because I think she would have had a good shot. I agree with Redmond that the fact that Dana, Erika and Cowboy were candidates over her was a joke.
But I do have to say, I dont think Jun is very popular at all... Do you remember the series finale? None of them even congratulated Jun or Alison, who both made as quick an exit from the house as you could imagine. If I recall correctly, they said some pretty mean stuff about Robert's daughter near the end. I personally didnt like Jun much at all throughout the series, but she deffinatly deserved to win.. well Alison should have won, but Jun was good too. I think what was good about Jun is that whilst she floated, she went where the power was, unlike other floaters who just sit inbetween two rival groups, a bit like Erika in Allstars who just let The Season 6 alliance and "The Legion of Doom" pick each other off for a while, and then let Boogie carry her the rest of the way. I consider Jun's gameplay different to Erika's in series 7 see.

In my opinion, the only winner who really didnt deserve to win was Drew, who did absolutely nothing but win a few competitions. Diane played a blinder to get herself into her desired position of 1. Diane 2. Drew before he finally did something and stabbed her in the back. I dont blame Drew for doing it, but Diane was really REALLY robbed in BB5.
I dont really think Adam should have won BB9 either.. but then again, nobody deserved to win BB9. I'd have prefered Ryan to win, because he actually seemed to be trying to play a game sometimes. The only other one with any questions over them in my opinion is Lisa, who I think may not have played a strong move game, but she was great at the social aspect of Big Brother, and deserved to win.. just not against Danielle.

Oh I know that Jun wasn't popular during her season, I'm not exactly a fan of her personally, but as a game player and a winner I think she is one of the better ones and I think many fans over time have realised that. That's the point I was trying to make.

Oh and also, I think Jun and Alison teaming up despite their obvious hatred of each other is one of the most underated moves ever. Neither of them would have had a cats chance in hell of winning against any of the ex's or Jack/Erika.

Although times i was very uncomfortable viewing, it had a much better outcome than BB5. Will was the obvious winner and really did deserve it. He was a mastermind and a brilliant player. What's more amazing is he won whilst being nominated so many times, and the POV wasn't even in play back then. Lisa was a lovely girl and all and made some strategic moves, but she just didn't deserve to win over Danielle. Danielle was brilliant at the game. If only they had a jury or the people voted out weren't so bitter. I really dislike it when the jury members are bitter. Totally poor sportsmanship and just shows why they don't deserve to be in the final 2. Jun and Drew have been discussed. As much as I disliked Maggie and the nerd herd, she kept that group together and pulled all the strings to keep them in. She was the one who got them to vote out James / Sarah and that was basically the turning point of the game. Mike was an awful, awful person, but got their because the others were so very very stupid. Chilltown should've been out of the house week 2. IMO, he shouldn't have even been an All Star as he was voted out week 4, but in the end, strategically he proved his worth as he was one of the best in a bunch of stupid gameplayers. Mind you, Will was still much better, but they both pulled their weight in to getting right to the end. Dick probably only won due to America's Player. I'd love to see how that season would've played out without AP. He played an absolutely awful social game, but by teaming up with Daniele had a decent strategy. Still don't think he deserved it, as he had the help of America, but he is still a relatively decent winner. Adam was definetely in a bad bunch. None of them really deserved it that much. I was supporting Sheila, but she definetely didn't deserve it based on strategy. She was just the least horrific of the lot, along with Sharon. Dan really did deserve it. A good strategist who went from ebing on the outside after the first week to winning by a unanimous vote. |

I agree with you about Boogie - awful disgusting human being, nowhere near an Allstar based on his series, but deserving of winning in the end.
I also think Maggie played a great game, and certainly better than Ivette. I think Janelle's major flaw was taking Maggie down in a bid to secure Jennifers eviction, because I think the Nerd Herd would have crumbled if Maggie had gone, which could easily have happened that week. (If Howie and Rachel voted Maggie out here, the Nerd Herd would have crumbled due to April and Ivette's rivalry.) Jennifer was small time compared to Maggie. |

I disliked Drew also, he sold out absolutely all of his friends and girlfriend but still got the 'NICE' tag because of his good-looks and was polite and that he prayed with the twins sometimes. He was completely boring and a rat.
![]() I'd say, Good winners - Dr Will, Dan Okay winners - Jun, Maggie Mediocre - Dick, Adam, Lisa RUBBISH - Drew Plain Scum - Boogie ![]() Partially personal, I don't think Boogie was all that bad of a player but despicable as an individual and shouldn't have been on the show. On a personal level I'd even place Dick above him who I completely DESPISE. Also, Lisa would be placed higher if she didn't lose to Danielle. And Adam would be lower if he was in any other season. Dick also. There is an ENORMOUS gap between Dr Will/Dan and the rest though. These are the only two results which satisfied me. I really hope that this year we will get a strong female winner for once. |

I hope one of the women can come and have a really strong gameplan too. The last time a female completely controlled the direction of the game imo was Diane, and that was 6 seasons ago!

........ The 'casual fans' may have not liked her or Alison, but looking back now I think people respect their gameplay. They dominated strategically, I mean damn, Jee and Robert and Erika etc, just plain sucked.
Janelle even said her favourite player is Jun. The fact Jun was overlooked for All Stars yet Erika, Dana, Boogie, Cowboy etc were in the running was a joke. BBUSA feeds have definitely been better than BBUK feeds for several years IMO......James virtually spitting his anger in Sheila's face.....Amanda collapsing unconconsious....Ollie and April sh*gging.....would not have been shown on BBUK live feeds. |

![]() Natalie I also think has a good chance, she is also a fan and very athletic, so will do well in endurance comps. She needs to lay low for the first few weeks and make some tight bonds and alliances, then start dominating in challenges in the latter half of the season. Michele is another big fan and very intelligent. She has a good chance of going far if she aligns with the right people. The other women I'm not so sure about it, but I think this season we have a strong chance of a female winner.

Dan really did deserve it. A good strategist who went from ebing on the outside after the first week to winning by a unanimous vote. I agree. Dan is the illegitimate offspring of Dr Will in game terms. Outstanding winner. However, I'd like to know how you and other officianadoes think Dan would have managed if America had chosen to evict Memphis instead of Jessie? Dick was helped big time by the voters, but so was Dan IMO. |

Dick was helped big time by the voters, but so was Dan IMO. I think either way Dan would have been alligned with the stronger side of the house. But we may have had a different final five of people like Michelle, Jessie, April, Ollie. But Dan would still be in there. |

Can I just ask what Jun did to deserve all the venom?! I actually really liked her during the season (although I was 13 at the time
: ), and was thrilled that she won. I also LOVED Alison, and think their alliance is right up there with the smartest moves in BB history. I know she wasn't the 'nicest', but she was no more ruthless than half the other BB contestants the show's seen...why does she deserve to be called 'a piece of shit' for example??

Not really, since Dan would probably have voted out Jessie anyway regardless of AP. Whereas in BB8 it actually helped CHANGE and STEER the game in Dick's direction, whereas if it had run its natural course the outcome would have been very different, and Eric's group would have ended up winning.
I think either way Dan would have been alligned with the stronger side of the house. But we may have had a different final five of people like Michelle, Jessie, April, Ollie. But Dan would still be in there. |

Sorry, but this isn't my point. I know Dan wanted to evict Jessie and America obliged. If that vote had gone the other way, Dan would have been the 5th wheel in a "couples" alliance.....Ollie/ April and Jessie/ Michelle. Dan would've had to win an awful lot of vetoes to escape eviction at their hands.

Dick was helped big time by the voters, but so was Dan IMO. Nothing like how America helped Dick win, as well as the producer rigging. Quote:

With voters Dan evicts Jessie and goes on to win. Without voters Dan evicts Jessie and goes on to win. |

Yep I want a strong female winner this season. Laura looks good, she is a massive fan of the show and seems extremely confident, I just hope she doesn't get too cocky and end up putting a target on herself too early.

Lydia also hasn't seen the show before (apart from the seasons given to her in sequester), so she could be very niave.
