Torchwood advertised on BBC1?
Dave 909
06-07-2009
I think along wth near everyone on here know it starts tonight of cause. But have I been watching very little BBC in the last couple of weeks or have they not advertised the new mini series much at all?.

Comapred to other big budget shows that get advertised to the point where you get bored or start to think you dont care when it starts any more etc. Torchwood seems to have had very little advertising on tv compared to other shows that have had prime time slots?.

I have not seen it advertised once on any of the BBC channels. Then again I do not watch a massive amount of BBC either.

You must be joking, it's been advertised LOADS. The BBC have gone out there way to advertise itafter the big tennis matches they have had on last week as well (the Murray QF and the final yesterday).

I've managed to catch the BBC1 trailer around four times in the last week or so. Combine that with the Radio Times gatefold front cover and inside article, it has been rather difficult to miss.

Solameen, since you checked only quarter of an hour after it aired, it probably just hadn't been updated yet, so I'll check myself later. Also, it might be linked to the BBC Breakfast website rather than the iPlayer homepage.

EDIT: Just checked - the BBC Breakfast site hasn't been updated yet. A Danny Wallace interview is mentioned, so the Gareth and Eve interview ought to be there later. As long as I see it before TW:COE starts tonight, I'll be happy. I'm not at home, and therefore not near a TV right now, that's why I missed it.
