Made me think about (kfc) chicken as i have a roast chicken in the oven and the smell is amazing

I like their gravy. Though I suppose it is only flour, water and flavourings.
Not too keen on their chicken nowadays - I suspect they don't put as much monosodium glutamate in the coating lately.

The smell of the KFC where I used to live in London always reminded me of sick (sorry!) so I hadn't eaten it in years but I had a random craving for a corn on the cob on Saturday so went in a branch of one here in Athens to get one and nearly passed out with the stench! It's exactly the same!
I haven't had a KFC for well over a year, maybe two. I like them but they are too expensive.
There was a great place in town that did Southern Fried Chicken and it tasted just like KFC, the pieces were bigger and the price was about a third less. Unfortunately they were boughtout then closed down

Lots of places are cheaper than KFC, not many are as good.

They are compared to the local place I used to goto. The chicken tasted just as good and you got more for your money.
