Seriously, what is wrong with the woman? Does she forget she's got concerts to go to or something? |

She makes a habbit of doing this.
The three times i've seen her she was late on all occasions. ...and not just minutes either and due to her magesty being late I missed my train. ![]() Drowned World she was late by half an hour, and the for RIT she didn't come on until 8:35. Confessions was even worse, she didn't come on stage until 8:50. ![]() I didnt bother with Sticky and Sweet.

Not to be rude to any of her fans or anything, but why does anyone stil bother to pay their hard earned cash to go and see this complete joke for a 'performer' while she mimes and make statements that even a 10yr old would consider naive and immature.
Long wait or not, it's not as if you can look forward to a decent musical performance from this mime artist, is it? Personally it worries me that some people see her as some sort of 'icon' frankly. |

Ah, there'll always be negative nancies in the world ready to pounce at the first available opportunity. Thankfully, theres millions and millions of happy fans who dont really care that she turns up late because they know theyre going to get one of the tightest and most professional show on earth.

I love Madonna, huge huge fan... but i am still to see her live. Aside from her extortionate ticket prices she always comes across really cold and distant in her live performances.
I did plan on seeing Sticky and Sweet, but i refused to pay out that much money. I saw Pink in London in May and it was hands down the best show i'd ever seen and it was only £40. I'm suprised M can get away with it (although didn't she cancel a Manchester show due to low ticket sales )

She's always late for shows and DS have (as usual) exagerrated and reported it inaccurately. She's wasn't an hour late at all and there was just a few boos because she was a bit let but certainly not widespread and she was on excellent form and put on a fantastic show and nobody left disappointed. DS really are getting poor with their inaccurate news stories

Love her music, but the videos of her shouting obscenities like a man in her performances really put me off

How many people missed trains or had to leave early because she was late? I know it was in the thousands in Cardiff. |

Nearly EVERY performer is late on stage. When you are an artist you cannot perform until you are 100% in the zone. Its not something you can turn on and off like a tap.

Is it also true that she asked the aircon to be turned off in the arena?

It always amuses me how people think an entertainer can dance and leap about and still maintain on point vocals.....
ITS IMPOSSIBLE PEOPLE, you know what your getting when you go to see a show that contains energetic choreography, they have to mime, nobody can do otherwise. and paying £100 to see Madonna? so what, people pay £500 to watch Barbara Streisand stand still and sing, they also know what they are getting, a vocal masterclass. |

Time was when a performer would dance when he/she wasn't singing and vice versa ie. James Brown. If the choreography is only possible to pull off at the expense of the singing then isn't that just bad choreography? I guess modern pop is also very vocal heavy for various reasons so that makes it doubly impossible to perform live! Ah hell! It was all better in my day!! Grumble grumble . . . . |

As the person above me states Beyonce manages it, as does Justin Timberlake and he moves a lot more than Madonna, as does Usher and he manages to sing LIVE at LIVE concerts. Dizzee Rascal etc, The list is endless of performers who can sing live and still dance. Im getting bored of the whole you cant dance and sing live, its impossible excuse. If you cant do it then dont charge stupid amounts for tickets as you are not giving the ticket holder the full show. Madonna and Britney both major culprits. |
