Well, to be honest, you need at least TWO in order for their highly-stackable nature to pay dividends.

Somewhere I saw a picture of THREE stacked. It was so adorable, and yet so handy.

Hmmm... lifelong happiness with a partner, or look after a cat. Let me think about that one...

i've had one who didn;t like myy animals (scared of a guinea pig, what a fanny )

in the end he dumped me, one of the reasons being he didn;t want to come second to my animals
which, would never have happened, but oh well, he was a jerk anyway

if i met anyone i would need them to understand from the start about my animals, if they didn;t like them, i would gradually try to convince them that they;re not that bad
if they couldn;... well. i'm hardly going to get rid of defenceless, living things which depend on me, and that i made a commitment to when i brought them into my home, without a fight. the person in question would either have to get over it, or get on their bike i'm afraid.

we come as a package.

This is so true - my soon to be ex husband and my cat had a mutual hatred when they first met - wish I'd listened to the cat!

However, in my husbands defence he did accept that I had a pet who he either learned to get on with or he was out the door. No way would I ever give up my pets for another human being.

I've been married for over 20 years now, and luckily my husband loves our animals as much as I do, but when I was younger if I had met someone I thought was nice, and then found out they didn't like my animals, then they were obviously not as nice as I thought they were

There's something rather unattractive about a man who hates animals, I don't think I could ever get close to somebody like that.....IMO theres nothing more attractive than seeing hubby snuggled up on the sofa with the cat on one knee and the dog on the other

If someone could dislike my little one - who is the cutest little monster - then they simply wouldn't be Mr Right

I don't have a great relationship with my dad (my parents are divorced) and my dog doesn't like my dad and he equally dislikes the dog. He gets all defensive when my dad comes into the house.

To be honest if a guy took an instant dislike to my animals it would put me right off him. I understand that not everyone is a pet fan but if they wanted a relationship with me I feel they should accept my animals were part of my life first and come with me. My dogs especially have been a source of loyalty & comfort through difficult times and mean a lot to me, I'm not ashamed to say that.
Funnily enough I think animals seem to sense when they aren't liked and keep be quite good judges of charachter!

For me, if they didn't like my pets then they obviously aren't Mr Right. My OH had never had pets in his life, not even a goldfish. Since meeting we've had 1 cat, tropical fish for 15 years and currently have no's 4 & 5 of the dogs we've had. Great stuff!

Not a chance. If they couldn't accept a pet other than extreme health reasons (ie: NOT just a little sniffle or itch), then they're obviously not the right person for me. Good job both my partner and I work with animals XD

This is so true, the boyfriend I had before my now husband adored cats, when he came round my house my cat positively flirted with him - she would not leave him alone and she was always such a scaredy cat with anyone but me, until she met him.
