Today I was really excited when I found they have multipacks of the normal size Twisters in Iceland (other supermarkets I've been to only have mini ones). Anyway I just had one and can't believe it, but they have changed the flavour!

I thought it tasted funny and the green was not as bright as it used to be. Reading the back of the box it says instead of the yummy Pineapple Ice Cream, Lime and Strawberry ice combination that it has always been, it now says on the back it is Vanilla Ice Cream, Pear and Strawberry Ice!! It is nowhere near as good as the original, and no where on the box does it say it is some kind of new/limited editon flavour or anything, so I am assuming for some reason they have just completely ruined one of the nicest ice creams/lollies in existence!!!!!

Are they all like this, or is it just some kind of weird Iceland thing???

I had one the other day and it was rank. Didn't look at the wrapper, just wanted to devour the thing. Was well disappointed.

Same...I only read the packet once I ate it and it tasted yuk! Now I have 2 boxfuls of them in the freezer !

Had a normal one yesterday with Pineappel, lemon/Lime and Strawberry.

Must be Iceland selling dodgy crap or something.

Surely they wouldnt actually get rid of the best ice lolly and put pear in the place of Lime?

I hope it is just Iceland!! I've never shopped there before, and not planning to again if this is what they sell!! lol

Maybe it's just iceland being cheap and buying foreign, inferior, imports. Like when shops and takeaways sell Coca Cola Light instead of Diet Coke.

At least the mini's ones have definitely not changed, although there are the grotesque looking chocolate ones now. Eurgh!

Anyone remeber the original Walls 'Tangle Twister' in the 80's which was a mix of Strawberry, Chocolate and vanilla Ice cream... I was gutted when they changed it to the current 'pineapple and lemon/lime 'ice'' (or not now so it seems!!) concoction.

Although a quick look at the Walls website pineapple ice cream & lemon/lime 'ice' as the main dudes... and they've re-introduced the 'full' ice cream version with Vanilla, chocolate and this time caramel Ice cream flavours.... Joy to behold!

I got mine from the Co-Op so it's not just Iceland! The dirty disgusting pigs.

Twisters just taste the same to me. Although I could reel off a list as long as my arm of other beloved products that have been bastardised over the years.

I don't know why of all flavours they have chosen Pear. Surely that is one of the worst flavours they could have used in this new version?!! I've actually emailed Walls to find out what's going on lol!

I get normal ones from Iceland. They also have chocolate and vanilla twisters which are yum.

Mm I want a twister now!

I only get the Mini Twisters from ASDA.

This is what it says on the box
"Pineapple ice cream with strawberry-lemon fruit ice and lemon fruit ice with a lemon-lime flavour"


I've been getting them for a while and haven't noticed any change in them.



I have noticed a change in FABs. The sprinkles seem to be more brittle than before.
