Has anyone seen them? They've replaced all the old ones with the new packaging at the supermarket we shop at. It has to be the worst invention on earth.

It comes in a perfume-like bottle so you spray it on your food. Half of it ends up floating around the air and stinking the room out, while the rest of it covers the whole plate with vinegar and ruins all the food you didn't want vinegar on.

I just had some of that on my dinner!
I think its quite a cool idea, get a nice even covering on your food.
Though you can get a bit of a back splash and end up smelling a bit vinegary if you arent careful

Well at least I have some support. I thought I was the only one.

But have you noticed how about 90% of it turns to mist and floats off in the opposite direction of your dinner?

Oh, FFS

I'm relieved I've got a separate vinegar bottle into which I empty all my vinegar.

Why can't they just leave things alone ?

All the supermarkets round here sell both - are you sure it is a replacement and not just a variant?

In that bottle, one would expect it to be found in the cleaning aisle.

Nope, spraying my chips doesn't appeal to me either.

Ridiculous. I'll keep an old fashioned bottle and transfer it.

maybe the spray bottle is in response to all those "woman's own" style top-tips from people who use vinegar to clean things

Is Heston Blumenthal to blame? On his programme he put vinegar in to a spray bottle and spritzed it around when he served fish and chips.

But that's wonderful news.

It's the best stuff to clean windows and bogs, so now I can spray it all round the rim

I pity the person who has a cut on their face when the vinegar mist sprays onto it

Oh I can't say I agree.

If that was the case they would have done something else to reel money in.. like made a separate product and added some magical ingredient that we'd never heard of before.

Just trying to make more people but their vinegar by fiddling around with it I believe, instead of the shops own brands, which people are buying more of now to save money.

You could just use the original type though... It'll be next to the spray ones
