Being very mean I just keep a few of the tear drop shaped shaker type bottles and top them up with the big cheap screw top bottles anyway. About half the price.

I do that as well.

Great to find someone else who uses the word 'wally' for the gherkin! Chips shop staff these days look at you as if you are a wally, the word is almost obsolete.

Saying that we do have vinegar in the house, but buy the large plastic bottles, 2.5 litre or more.

It does tend to float off I must say! and you never know how much you are putting on. Is one spray enough? do I need another...
I'm starting to think this is an ill thought out bottle.
