No you're not. I can't figure out how you do it either.

The small central button next to the "quote" button is the "multiquote" button. Click on all of the posts you want to quote from (the box should turn red) then click the " add reply".

Hey presto!!

(I only learnt recently)

Ok....

If you look at the bottom right of each post there are several buttons..... (one says "quote")....

quote = quoting only one post...

the button next to that on the right has 2 speech bubbles in it...

when you want to multi quote 2 posts you press the "2 speech bubble" box for the first post you want to quote (this button turns red) and then the main "quote" button for the second....

then you should have a reply set up with the 2 quotes...

For more than 2 quote posts.. you press the "2 speech bubble" button as many times as you like and then the "quote" button for the last one...

EG:

to post the first three posts of this thread... you double bubble quote the first two posts and quote the third post...

try it...

Sorry its a bit of a full on explanation but it took me ages to work this out...

If you knew me, you'd just call me a little blob, JfW

......and my contribution to these boards is nowhere near as immense as yours.... (that's a not very subtle hint for more Musings please, when series 7 starts, by the way)

Just a funny thought that popped into my head.

Reading the excitement at finding out how to multi quote was almost as bad as when my wife finally figured out how to use all of the features on our freeview/HDD/DVD remote.

Since then, we are on our third remote. She keeps wearing out the buttons. She hops around, records, plays back, edits, slow/fast, forwards. It's a nightmare.

I have visions of masses of multi quote responses now you have all learned how to use them.

Please don't crucify me, it is intended as a fun response.
