Girls Aloud Vs The Sugababes
There seems to be rivalry between the two groups of fans, I wonder why seeing as they teamed up for "Walk This Way?" Sugababes recently premiered their new song "Get Sexy" from their upcoming new album. Which group do you prefer, why and what are your fave songs from both? I like both.
Btw, which group has sold more as both groups claim it's them? Discuss.

Sugababes have sold more overall I believe although their latest album flopped and Girls Aloud's sold really well (partly due to Cheryl on XF.)
I personally prefer Sugababes; their songs and their voices are better IMO. |

Sugababes all the way. Girls Aloud get more column inches, but vocally, the Babes are unbeatable.
I don't know why there's rivalry between the group's fans when the group members are good mates! |

Sugababes are the better band but Girls Aloud are tabloyd friendly which is why they are more popular with the tabs but given the babes are about to sex it up GA may have a fight on their hands.

I don't know why there's rivalry between the group's fans when the group members are good mates! Agree with this 100%. There is no competition vocally between the two groups. Push the Button is one of my all-time favourite pop songs, and Girls Aloud just don't have anything in their back catalogue to match it. |

Sugababes in general but "Get Sexy" is going to ensure this album flops.
(as pointed out on another thread I am actually quite crap at predictions). |

As I said in the other thread, the Sugababes' main competition now is from the Pussycat Dolls, not Girls Aloud.

Girls Aloud are virtually unknowns outside the UK.GA haven't really progressed as a group if you ask me, Xenomania have produced nearly all their singles. Fave GA song: Call The Shots Face Sugas song: Too Lost In You |

Sugababes music used to of a good quality but it just seems to get worse with each album
Mutya has a really good voice and the three in it now can't really match up to her. I don't like how they think they are so much better than Girls Aloud-at least none of their cover versions were as bad as "Girls" They also come across as moody but that has improved a bit since Mutya left - that is one good thing but at least Girls Aloud do not mind that they are marketing pop music while Sugababes are in denial a bit

Girls Aloud are pretty crap, The Sugababes are much better vocally. Girls Aloud has had more commercially friendly songs though and are relatively good pop, The Sugababes used to make really good music but their latest song 'Get sexy' is awful.

Even though I am one of the biggest GA fans you will ever meet, I will admit that when Change/Tangled Up were released, commercially the SB album and singles triumphed but now by much.
Last year when Out Of Control & Catfights & Spotlights came out GA blew them away in all areas.. |

Sugababes.
I love Girls Aloud too but they haven't had a decent single since Something Kinda Ooh although Sexy No No No was quite catchy. |

I know Sugababes are 8 million in sales, as said by Keisha. Not sure about Girls Aloud.
