My Cat is 14 1/2 years old. She has been vomiting up green stuff and has diahorrea. I took her to the vet, and he said that it appears to be some form of a bug. He gave her an antibiotic injection and zantac injection I presume to settle her stomach. This was yesterday. Today her vomiting has stopped, and her diahorrea has just been a very little bit just once.
She is eating very little pieces of tuna, she has eaten 3/4 of a small tin of tuna but not her usual cat food which she normally scoffs down in one go. I am just getting a bit anxious as shes not eating enough. She is starting to look thin as shes given up food. Her over all mood is good, shes purring away and is interested in whats going on around her.
Just wonder if I should leave her a day or two before returning to the vets for more tests, but am thinking maybe she will just eat when she feels ready to again? This is the only thing thats worrying me is getting her to eat as everything else about her is fine.
Anybody got any advice or just reassure me?
Thanks

Hopefully she will remain this way now.
