Which is better Restaurant Gordon Ramsey in Chelsea or Claridges?
We booked into Claridges for Friday whilst being on the waiting list for Chelsea – we have both options available now apparently.
The menus seems to be the same – is one harder to get a table at - if so maybe we should so that one and try the other one later. Any thoughts – I have to move quickly so put it in GD and Food (sorry for that) |

And I shall be. And I shall live there.... |

Although it seems you no longer had the option, I would have said Ramsey's - mainly because it will close down years before Claridges does.
Claridges is classic and will last. Ramsey is a fashion statement and will not. As to who is better? It depends on what you like and what you have. If I had the choice I would go to Ramsey for the reason I stated above - Ramsey is a fashion, not an institution; it will be transient. But fear not, there will be another equally obnoxious celebrity chef to visit in the future, I'm sure, evenif Ramsey's sold out to Claridges before you get there ![]() I hope you enjoyed your meal. I'm really quite jealous! |
