An article in the Guardian also says that the show has a Friday Launch show NOT that the show is moving to Fridays.

Alesha has announced on her official website that she has has to change her saturday night dates on the tour due to strictly commitments so the main show must still be on saturday.

Me too!!! I will have to rearrange my whole life if Fridays and Saturdays are permanent!! However, I think it will probably just be for the launch.

I just hope that the changes they seem to be making won't irritate people too much! I don't have a problem with change in general but I am not sure that Alesha is the right choice - more likely one of the dancers who no longer take part, eg Camilla.

It is just for the launch like last year. I'd have chosen Karen myself.

An article in today's Daily Mirror says that the first two shows, on Friday and Saturday will see the men and women competing on separate nights, so it must just be a one off.

Hopefully we will still have a 'meet and greet' programme on another night. The show starts sometime in September, no date given yet though.
