I was just thinking that if you wanted to "tweek" the programme the best thing you could do was replace ALL of the judges and replace them with more young and "hip"panelists, I for one would not be surprised if they did this for the next series?

I thought that too. I think getting rid of Arlene is just the thin end of the wedge.

I think that last year the judges thought they were
bigger than the show - asking for more money etc.
and I thought on some of the shows there was a bad atmosphere between them.

A sure way to disaster. How knowledgeable about ballroom and latin dancing would these young, hip panelists be?

Actually Ray Quinn whose record reads as a junior British ballroom Champion, European Champion, World Latin Champion is far better qualified to judge than any ex SCD champion - and even that is stretching credulity a little too far.

I see your point and I'm sure he's a lovely young man but no thank you.

What is so difficult about getting one more ballroom orientated judge? I just.....don't see what's so difficult about it

Won't Ray be on stage in 'Grease' when SCD is televised?
