Maybe that happened last time, and explains why the aliens are more aggressive this time. (not serious)

The axing of Mr Blobby has some benefit then.
WHY WHY WHY is Ianto still bleeding! Get a bloomin plaster!
So why was it a good idea to welcome the 456 and build them a nice tank.
Surely Jack said enough that Frobisher will suspect Jack has seen or heard "too much", and suspect a bug.
Nice illustration of the immorality of power. "Unaccompanied asylum seekers".
I hope Clem has some other purpose than being a pain in the neck.
FFS...'units'
I'm surprised the aliens are considered a credible threat as they haven't killed anyone yet or given a demonstration of military capability?

Perhaps they felt that they benefitted from the last deal of a vaccine for 12 children, and thought the cost might be that cheap this time too.

Very good point. The reason for doing that was to scare humanity, as was said in the actual show. Oh, here we go again.

the point being that they demonstrated that they could at will control every child in the world.
I'd say that is a threat.
'spin it to the public'
IF they can control the children, then surely they can make them go with them.
325,000 is the total of children in each country surely.
Number of children from each country.
I'd be happy with 10% of the children given away. Wishful thinking.
