Well hopefully she'll be to short for Anton ,but what height is Judy dare I ask ? and on the subject of Judy ,I thought she had a dodgy knee so how can she dance with that anyway?

most of the rumoured celebrities sound rubbish lol.
Poor Anton if he gets Judy the man deserves a break for crying out loud. Erin will probaly get Richard as he's tall and Erin is quite tall. I would run a mile if I was either Anton/Erin or any other pro thinking I might get one of them 2 haha |

Sharon would eat Darren alive ![]() Quote:
I don't know
Please, please tell me ![]() Before anyone says it, I'd just as readily say I don't want Ola getting a strong partner because her ballroom and choreography aren't as good as the other pros. Maybe it's not that at all though, could just be they like Anton's "English gentleman" routine too much to mix it up with fierce competitiveness! Quote:
That was suggested to me yesterday by another pro dancer. The BBC seem to excel in giving Anton the lame ducks and JF is certainly one of those. surely the BBC wouldnt be that cruel.
![]() The same pro suggested that Judy should be given to James and lets see what he makes of that. ![]()

I reckon she'd probably be better with Vincent, he could handle her, whereas I'm not sure poor Darren could! Can you imagine all the flirting and innuendo if she was put with Vincent? It would make great viewing!

Sharon Osborne on SCD would be the biggest threat ever to the continued success of the show imho.

No threat could be worse than Alesha Dixon pronouncing on matters she knows next to nothing about.

![]() Er... because Anton's latin is not as good as the other pros, so whoever is partnered with him is at a disadvantage. Before anyone says it, I'd just as readily say I don't want Ola getting a strong partner because her ballroom and choreography aren't as good as the other pros. Maybe it's not that at all though, could just be they like Anton's "English gentleman" routine too much to mix it up with fierce competitiveness! That would work for me ![]() You're right of course. Anton always seems to do the latin with his tongue firmly in his cheek doesn't he ![]() Sharon and Darren. I'd LOVE to see it. TV Gold I reckon

As much as I love him, I must admit Anton in the red catsuit was not one of his best SCD moments!

they couldn't really make darcey a contestant, what with all of her ballet experience. ballet gives you a head start in my ballroom because it gives you an elegant posture etc etc.
i do think that anton definately deserves a good partner this year - one who could potentially win it. maybe someone like matthew cutler should get a bad one, he's a gentleman but has had 2 pretty good years, alesha won and christine made it very far. |

They're not going to do the wife swap thing again and partner Richard with Ola and Judy with James?
![]() Richard would be far too tall for Ola, but then she always seems to get partners who are too tall. My money would be on Anton getting Sharon Osbourne. It would be a good audience puller, although I would feel sorry for Anton. |

Not to mention the fact that yes, Darcey is a FANTASTIC ballet dancer but that ballet requires a different style to ballroom and latin, and so she might not be as good as one expected. She'd certainly be far too upright and stiff in certain dances that do not require such posture.
Just because she can do ballet does not always mean that the skills are transefrrable to other styles ![]() |

Being partnered with Anton is definately NOT a disadvantage ,Anton is the making of SCD ,he is a true gentleman and without him there would be no show ,and as for his latin not being as good as his ballroom haven't we worn out that record now -the poor man has'nt had much chance to show off his latin skills as yet as he always ends up with the duffers!

Think of the strength and flexibility she has for starters, far better than most of the Strictly pros. She could never have been considered as a contestant. |

It hasn't been mentioned much as the focus has been on Arlene/Alesha, but Darcey will also be involved in the training of the couples.
My guess would be this is partly because every series Arlene tells at least one celeb to take some ballet classes to improve their posture, arms, etc. Look at the uproar there was because Cherie did ballet more than 40 years ago. Darcey would never have been considered as a contestant imho. |
