Totally agree with that. I still find the whole thing unbelievable and I think it is really going to change SCD from being an exciting competion to an entertainment show I for one cannot view it in the same light.

For example Camelia's not exactly ugly is she? I think the real issue is not that Arlene's being replaced but that she's being replaced with someone who knows a lot less. I like Alesha but I think this is wrong and she'd have done better not to have accepted the beeb.

However hated the dance-off is I believe it was brought in to stop travesties like Spoony being voted off before Jan and Georgina who were both hopeless that week (or at least that's why I originally supported it - it may have been an attempt to keep the likes of Emma in the competition which a lot of people have suspected vis a vis Lisa last year which was a bad idea). Unlike the dance-off this is a step too far the other way - the lady behind seems to be of the opinion Strictly is an entertainment show solely which is ignoring the fact that the dance element is also important.

She might like to study the title of the programme- which I believe is still Strictly Come Dancing

Bear with Jay Hunt though- she might be struggling to define the word dancing- so it will take her time to find it in the dictionary

Karen is like Marmite. You either love her or detest her with a passion. I am of the latter disposition and am seriously hoping for another dud partner this year. Trouble is you see more of her on ITT then.

How do you know what salary Alesha will receive - It's all hearsay that is written in the tabloids which is mainly made up rubbish.

I hope Alesha does a fantastic job and has people eating their words.

The tabloids are often fairly accurate about stories on Strictly actually. After all they broke the story on Alesha coming in to be a judge long before the press release.

Realistically Alesha has not got a chance of doing a fantastic job because she doesn't have the right knowledge to be a judge. The best she can hope for is not to show herself up, in which case she will be restricting herself to comments on effort and performance which are totally unnecessary to anyone who is actually watching along.

Well let's hope it's all heresay then... I daresay we'll hear something more definite at some point soon

I love Karen and hope she gets a good partner this year and when she does stop dancing on SCD I hope she is appointed as a judge - preferably replacing Bruno but as well as if that's not possible.
