That's a classic "1 Cable" situation, if there's nothing else set to record.
I just checked, and with only 1 cable you can't record BBC1 London & BBC HD together, but you can if you switched BBC1 Yorks. Are you sure you have done the 2 cable test accurately? Or are you sure you don't have any hidden manual timers on other channels at the same time? Rgds. Les. Nothing on the Schedule that looks like it should conflict. Wondered if another programme starting at same time as one of my 'conflict' programmes finished might be cause of problem so removed it but conflict between BBC HD and BBC 1 London remains. Any other ideas, Les. Looks like I shall be doing a reset tomorrow, too late to do it this evening or Madame may have something to say !!! Cheers Sandy |

Have just repeated the 2 cable check with good results again.

Very strange, if you set a recording reservation on 104 can you set a recording on 136 at the same time as 104. If you can then you must have 2 tuner capability. (104 is low band horizontal and 136 is one of the few channels on high band vertical)
If I now remove the two input cables and alternate them as single feeds will I be able to identify which is the non-working feed. I'll still have the problem of identifying which is the dodgy feed at the LNB end. Notwithstanding all the above I have been having success with recording two and viewing a third channel so it looks like the problem is intermittent. Comments ? Sandy |

Well that test failed. Conflict between 104 and 136 so I only have one feed.

Sandy Yes, you can remove the cables and try them one at a time into LNB1, then LNB2, which will identify whether it is the LNB/Cable or the tuner at fault. Don't forget to switch the box off at the back before disconnecting/reconnecting cables. Rgds. Les. |

Connect only one at a time to tuner1 to eliminate lnb/cable/connection fault (make sure the f plugs really grip the coax outer (sometimes fitters fit f plugs designed for WF100 to WF60 cable). If both OK do a factory reset and watch for the 2 cables found message
Then did a factory reset and the message came up saying both feeds were working. Then confirmed that I could record 104 and 136 at the same time. My thanks for all the support. Things are getting easier. Sandy |

When I switched off and looked at the F connectors I decided to re-work one of them. Can't shoot the fitter, it's me.
