I'll probably be the only person to say this, but I don't own any of them! Nothing really appeals from that list

Well, looking at that list; it appears that the Americans have much better taste than us! LOL

I only own the 50 Cent and Coldplay albums. I like a few songs from the other artists but not enough to warrant buying their albums.

Its good to see all Coldplay's hard work has been rewarded. They've toured like crazy in the US and its paid off. Well done them

Evanescence and Coldplay. I think Coldplay have done brilliantly to sell so many in the US - justifiably so, as it has some great tracks on it. Like some songs from the other artists but same as Gorky not enough to buy the CD.

There are only two albums that can be considered Gangsta on the list. (if at all)

As usual people have to stereotype.

I have got Norah Jones, Cold Play and Evanscence.

I am also surprised at the gangsta rap comment. Nora Jones is Jazz and I happen to think it was one of the best albums of this year.

I've got Coldplay and Norah Jones.

The Norah Jones I bought in spur of the moment thing because there was so much hype. Got home and couldn't be bothered to listen to it and never have since. How much could I get for it on ebay?

Have you seen how much the Outkast album has sold now? 7 times platinum in 15 weeks

And the singles are sitting at 1 & 2 in the charts, both are gold sellers. They must be raking it in

I own Linkin Park, Evanescence and Coldplay. I also have Norah Jones on order so that'll make 4 in total.

Agreed. I actually think it's a very balanced top 10, reflecting all the popular trends in the US.

2 hiphop/rap
2 R+B
2 Adult Contemporary
2 Rock
1 country
1 teen pop

And I don't know any of them either. I might buy Evanesence but that's it.
