Wouldn't switch on to the ITV HD channel this past week. Did a full reboot and that didn't work so did a factory reset which did. Taped and watched BBC HD ok last week.

This happened to me and a good few others after we were watching Natures Fury on ITV HD live and the screen went blank for the last bit of the program. From then on no ITV HD.Had to do the reset like you.Its a few weeks ago now but you wouldent know its not working if you haddent wanted to watch ITV HD till now.

I've had Freesat+ for about a month now. However, I don't have an HD TV yet so don't use the HD channels. But looking at these posts here it seems that ITV HD is none too robust. Am I right?

ITV HD can be a bit of a pain in the backside but we can’t complain too much for something that’s free.

The problem was with the box and not ITV HD.

The only problem that ITV HD has is the lack of content available. This has improved and will get better once ITV has adapted to the market it now finds itself operating in.

I've had two, possibly three problems now with my box. None have been permanent and have been cured easily. I've had problems more frequently with my Sky HD box. To be fair I have fixed them easily as well but some people have had nightmares with their Sky HD box with numerous swapped machines.

Humax Freesat+ boxes are almost glitch free in comparison.
