Am I really the last person to cotton on to the fact that I can stop paying my Ocado delivery fees (I pay the £10 a month, as many deliveries as you like) and use Waitrose Direct for free? Grrrrr! Wish I'd known this before I signed up to my Ocado thingy.

I think they have limited coverage compared to Ocado.

Acually, last time I checked they didn't deliver to me, although on rechecking now it appears they do!

Thanks for the reminder!

waitrose dosen't deliver to me, it's 5 miles to the nearest one. I do try to make the effort but it's too far. I heart waitrose but living in a none too affluent area there's no call for a waitrose round here. .

My sister and fellow friends call me a snob and that 'she thinks she's better than everyone else' just because I like it and I luuuurve their all butter twirl bread things.

They are of the belief 'you can get all that in Icelands'

Nearest one to me is over 7 miles away and they still deliver. And I always though this area was more effluent than affluent, I guess there must be demand for them, although i've never seen them advertising their delivery service.

I wish we had a Waitrose here...

We've got one coming to Glasgow - but that's still a 30 minute car journey (not including parking) or a 35 minute train journey (not including to and from the station times).

We're only just getting Sainsbury's in this area!!!

And you can get goods sold by weight such as cheese and fish from the Waitrose Deli.

I receive part of my salary in Waitrose vouchers (with an 8% discount) which is very handy. They're a bit overrated but definitely the best of the bunch.

My local one is only a mile and a half away but no delivery service.

I thought ocado delivery was free over £75?

No, I thought it was too but we got charged every time (and we spend about £140-£150 a week on a delivery) so we switched to the £10 an month deal. I'll be annoyed if it is supposed to be free but we're not typing in some code somewhere, it should calculate it automatically.

If you spend £75 or more there are some delivery slots that are free or very cheap, mainly late evenings or mid week afternoons.
