That's where you've been Ray!!
BB4wasthebest
16-01-2004
Some people think that the h/ms from BB4 have vanished off the face of the planet....
Well not all of them i.e Ray. Just because he's not mentioned in the English press doesn't mean that he's disappeared. Ray went back to Ireland to a heroes welcome. He is very much liked in his homeland after his mammoth stint in the house and even though he lives in London, he travels back and forth to Dublin as much as he can. He appears in the Irish papers (The Irish Star, The Irish Sun e.t.c) nearly every week and has become a bit of a celeb but remains very grounded. I've been lucky enough to meet him and he was very gracious with his time.
Ray has also recently signed up to do a morning show on one of Dublins biggest radio stations.
At the end of Jan, Ray along with other celebs play an annual charity football match against Sky Ones Dream Team...

ShowbizIreland.com...

"Keith Duffy has announced his team to play The Tesco Challenge on February 1st at Tolka Park, Dublin. And it looks like he has grabbed the cast from Coronation Street to help him out on the day.
Ten cast members from Corrie will be togging out for Keith including Tyrone (Alan Halsall), Kevin (Michael Lavelle), Martin (Sean Wilson), Ashley (Steven Arnold) and Kirk (Andy Whyment) to name but a few.
Keith has also signed up Def Leppard lead singer Joe Elliott, Big Brother contestant Ray Shah, comedian Brendan O'Carroll and Pop Idol finalist Brian Ormond as well as actor Will Mellor and Westlife's Nicky Byrne.
Further celebrity players will be confirmed over the coming days.
The Tesco Challenge will take place in Tolka Park on Sunday February 1st, 2004 when personalities from the world of sport and entertainment will show off their soccer skills to raise money for Childline"

Good on you Ray, all the best for the future because you deserve it.

Grow up Pedantic!! Ray deserves some credit. Without him, BB4 would of been unwatchable. Leave your smart comments to some other topic.

Well Mr.Informer, it must take a w@nker, to recognise a w@nker
You say BB4 was w@nk, yet I'm sure you watched it all....the irony of it all.

BB4 was best, are you sure? I watched it, I could've sworn it was the worst.

Well not all of them i.e Ray. Just because he's not mentioned in the English press doesn't mean that he's disappeared.

He has'nt dissapeared hes just of no interest to the English press

Ray went back to Ireland to a heroes welcome. He is very much liked in his homeland after his mammoth stint in the house

Where are you getting this Bull from, Ray isn't a hero in Ireland, most people don't even know who he is and appears on every crap Irish programme that are stuck for a interviewee ie, Ireland am and The panel

He appears in the Irish papers (The Irish Star, The Irish Sun e.t.c) nearly every week

No he does'nt

and has become a bit of a celeb but remains very grounded. I've been lucky enough to meet him and he was very gracious with his time.

Hes not a celeb and all he can talk about is how his presenting jobs are going in Ireland
Ray has also recently signed up to do a morning show on one of Dublins biggest radio stations.

And was axed

Good on you Ray, your just a person who can't hold their drink and gets such a big head with a little bit of notority you deserve it.

Tipptop, are you suggesting that BB4wasthebest was in error with their "bigging-up" of ray?
and that he in actual fact is a no-mark in his native land?

Obviously TippTop you haven't a breeze what you're on about. The radio station he's starting on hasn't been axed, he hasn't started yet. It's starting at the end of Feb so dunno where you're getting your facts from. Let me guess, you're English. Another English mug trying to berate an Irish person.
If you're Irish, I don't know why you would want to slag off Ray for. He did Ireland proud and you are in the 0.0000001% of people that dislike Ray in Ireland. Also, if you don't think he's much of a celeb in Ireland, and nobody knows him, i dare you to come to the footie match in Dublin next week and hear the cheer he'll get from the crowd.

This is a despicable argument, what has Tipptop's nationality got to do with anything?

If you're Irish, I don't know why you would want to slag off Ray for.

Doesn't like Ray, perhaps?

He did Ireland proud and you are in the 0.0000001% of people that dislike Ray in Ireland.

Is there a source for this barely credible statistic?

Also, if you don't think he's much of a celeb in Ireland, and nobody knows him, i dare you to come to the footie match in Dublin next week and hear the cheer he'll get from the crowd. ”

Is this the same lovable and jovial Ray who threatened to smash Jon Tickle's face in and resented the amount of publicity Jon was getting.

Eh!? I live in Ireland and I've heard diddly squat about him. No doubt he hits the Z list circuit on the weekend, but in Dublin that consists of about 5 pub/club/yuppie bars 2 mins away from each other.
