Released 16th February

What do other FM's think of this song, I personally love it (I would) but I really think it shows off her vocal abilities to maximum effect, and is a very strong song.

I'm particularly interested in posts from FM's who didn't watch Fame Academy.

I'm a bit confused - last night i seen the video for Cry on MTV Hits and towards the end it seemed to cut off very abruptly - is there anything explicit in the video?

Sorry to bump this.

Anyone catch her TOTP performance?

Great emotional edgy performance, really atmospheric, reminded me of a Coldplay performance, and she hit the note!

I thought it was fantastic! Its doing very well on the TV/Radio charts too, much better than her debut.

Released tomorrow.

Hope it beats Busted! - those unlikely

Top 3 I think.

Just had to say , been listening to the Acoustic Verson of MTWIT, on mycokemusic.com, which will be included on the Cry single.

WOW! That girl is fantastic unplugged! it sounds awesome acoustically

Buy it for this track alone!

It could be structured better I think, as it's almost all chorus. If it had a few good verses and was a bit longer it'd be an excellent song. It's a lot better than her first single, which I found a bit dreary. Cry shows her vocal talent off a lot better, which she obviously has.

She's the only good thing to ever come out of music-based reality TV. I despise Pop Idol, Fame Academy etc as they're just too tacky.

About 2 weeks ago I found a promo copy of this in my local charity shop (yes, they can be a treasure trove for finding old singles or stuff which is rare/not sold in shops) and bought it for the bargain price of 50p after a bit of haggling, as it only had 1 track on it.

The song certainly has been starting to grow on me during the past few weeks as I have been playing it quite a bit and also seen the video for it on the music channels. She must have had to get up very early to get such an empty underground station and train.

How does one get promo copies of CD singles (apart from rummaging around in the CD racks of charity shops) ?

I've got loads of promo copies of CD's before. I got some awhile ago off Nickelodeon when I won something. Then I brought loads at a cheap price from this music shop which sells CD's cheap. And I too have found some in charities, there normally dropped off by the media after they've used them.

It is a great song, deserving of number 1 over those Busted clowns.

Just bought her 2CDs, her acoustic versions of Wandering soul and her own song Chasing the blue are wonderful, pity Cry hasn't had a lot of airplay.
