At the Dutch Grand Prix (Motorcycle racing) I had some smokes salmon wings. It was a first for me and they were absolutely delicious. Far better than regular smoked salmon. It reminded me of smoked eel.

But here's the question. What are salmon wings?

I came back here to see if anybody had answered the question. I'm intrigued. Sure they weren't Skate/Ray?

Gawd knows. Buffalo wings are popular in America, and they are chicken!

Buffalo wings are so named because of Buffalo in New York, and that presumably where the recipe orginitated from/became popular...

Sorry for that useless fact

Finally found it between all the fly fish lures and buffet descriptions.
Apparently it's the smoked belly of the salmon.
High in Omega-3 and flavour.
On it's way to become a staple of the modern buffet.
