New Daughtry album was released here yesterday, and in the US today.

Given that his last album went multi-platinum in the US and sold 4-5 million copies (depending on the source), and whilst wasnt HUGE here, certainly didnt do that badly - I am surprised by the total lack of UK publicity for the release.

Are the Digital Spy Album reviewers on holiday this week?

"Daughtry" was a great album, and so is "Leave This Town" - which is, in fact, being stocked at least by the online retailers, even if not the high street ones.

It's extremely mainstream and radio friendly, which is why I can't fathom why it's getting no coverage.

I loved the first album and have just got the new one but not had a chance to listen to it yet.

I hope it is as good as the first.

I actually think this album improves on the first one - which is pretty good going considering how good Daughtry was.

I just think its a real shame that the UK isnt getting the full Daughtry experience. Their songs are a breath of fresh air for mainstream rock.

My cousin's husband Brian Howes has written tracks with him and is a music producer.

Bought the album today - from what I've heard so far, it's really good.
