What will it be?

I think Muse "The Resistance" could be in with a shot

also Arctic Monkey's "Humbug" could be but if 'Crying Lightning' is anything to go by, maybe not.

I'd say at the moment Metallica's Death Magnetic has to be up there. I never thought I would see such an incredible return to form - I mean we all knew it was going to be better than St. Anger (how could it not be?), but what we got was something incredibly special.

New Muse and Iron Maiden albums could possibly knock it off it's perch though!

If Radiohead had a record coming out this year then I might say that. Muse are definitely in with a shot as long as they don't go too overblown.

Crying lightning is great. Definitely a step forward in their sound. Lyrics are interesting, imaginative and witty. The guitar riffs are typically stonking too. I feel its like Alex Turner has took parts of The Last Shadow Puppets sound and merged them with the Arctics.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Blueprintł - Jay-Z

Grand opening, grand closing.

ETA: Lupe Fiasco is putting out another album this year. And OutKast might as well.

Oh no doubt Blueprint 3 got classic potential too.

I don't think its a crap song, I just think they've got better songs in them... I also don't think its a particularly big step forward in their sound. I thought songs like "Do Me A Favour" "505" "Old Yellow Bricks" from the last album were much more imaginative. If anything its a step back.. not that thats always a bad thing.

The Strokes album could be interesting. I love all their records. Will be interesting to see how relevant they are when that album comes out.
