Name An Album With A Hidden Track
Wish they'd do more of these but then it wouldn't be novel I guess.
The Verve - Urban Hymns. |

Travis - The Man Who (Blue Flashing Light - after last track)
Travis - 12 Memories (In The Church - after last track) None else out of my collection that I can think of. I can't really understand it myself, if its good enough to be on the album why hide it? I believe there are other type of hidden track rather than just a few minutes silence after the last track, I think there are ones where they add about 40 blank tracks to the end of the CD. |

Alannis Morrisette - Jagged Little Pill
Think I had owned this album for about 5 months before actually hearing it lol. Used to just hit stop once the 'last' track had finished. |

Hidden track? Who did it first? you may ask.
The Beatles, of course! On Abbey Road (original vinyl version, not sure about the CD that was later released) the final credited track is "The End". There follows 20 seconds of silence... then the 23 second hidden (if you like) ditty "Her Majesty". It was a complete surprise when I first heard it, brilliant, it wasn't mentioned on the album sleeve and this had never been done before!

Kylie - Light Years.
Start playing track one, press reverse search (not skip). Player will start rewinding through a track called Password. Toy Shop - Party Up. Not exactly a track... After five minutes silence at the end of the album, there's ten minutes of table tennis. |

Ash's '1977' album was one of the first I came across that had a track before track 1, actually I think there's two in a row there.
Blur's 'Think Tank' has one before track 1 too, but the weird thing is on one of my players at home the CD automatically begins with the hidden track on -06.02 or whatever, and on another player the album starts normally at 00.00 of track 1, 'Ambulance'. Anybody else had this? |

World Party - Bang; there's a great track called Kuwait City...sort of a Beach Boys pastiche.
Crowded House - Woodface; a short ditty We're Still Here. Robbie Williams - I'm sure his first couple of solo albums have hidden tracks on them but I don't play them; that's the wife's territory This is annoying as I have loads of hidden tracks in my collection and for now, I can't think of anymore and I haven't got time to start dipping into the collection. I will do later and revisit this thread when I've rediscovered some more!

Beyonce - Dangerously In Love. Wait for a second after Bonnie and Clyde has finished and an extra track will play.

Queen - Made In Heaven. The CD version has a 23 minute out take of Freddie Mercury clowing around. The sound is quite good as it is the out take of It's a Beautiful Day.
Robbie Williams - Life Thru a Lens, Sing When You're Winning and I've Been Expecting you all have extra tracks on them. I like the rant on Life Thru A Lens as it has a rant at his Careers Teacher. |

Come to think of it, Dannii Minogue's current album "Neon Nights" has a hidden track something like 50 seconds after the last track. In fact, its not even a track. There's a LONG pause then more music.
