The Negroni - Italian Cocktails
Hey Guys,
I am already in the mood for the weekend.. We currently have the Italian Classic Negroni as our Cocktail of the week. This is perhaps one of the easiest cocktails to make, but definitely one of the tastiest. It's so named because it is said to have been invented by Count Camillo Negroni in Florence in 1919, when he asked a bartender to add gin to his Americano instead of soda water. Has anyone tried this cocktail before? If not would you ever want to drink this.. would love some feedback Video tutorial Recipe: 1 PART Beefeater Gin 1 PART Campari 1 PART Italian Sweet Vermouth METHOD Build ingredients, over ice, in a rocks glass and stir. Garnish with an orange wedge. |

Had one in a famous bar in Milan, which I can't remember the name of at present, some years ago.
Wasn't impressed and haven't ordered one since. Each to their own as they say. |
