Hi there,

I've just moved into a new house and have been looking into the various options for TV, broadband and phone. Quite keen on going for the tiscali+ service, but the only thing that is putting me off is the £99 installation fee, which is quite a bit higher than competitors. Clearly the higher initial costs pay for themselves in the long run due to the cheaper subscription, but it just really narks me to have to stump up just for the install.

Frankly I would be happier if the equipment was just sent over in a box so I could install myself.

Is anyone aware of any deals or offers that can be made to avoid or reduce this cost?

We joined in January and there was an offer on, free STB and £30 install charge. The details were on the website... maybe it's worth calling them and seeing if they can do a deal?
