They're back

I've loved them for a long time but never seen them live. I received my tickets for Manchester yesterday

Anyway, they recorded a new song for their Greatest Hits.

It's quite good actually. I wasn't expecting anything amazing and this song is not as good as a lot of their old stuff, but it's still a welcomed return.

I'm sooooo looking forward to the gigs.

Yeah I like that new one. I don't remember much of the old stuff, though they are the kind of band that if I heard one of their big hits I'd be like "oh yea this takes me back". New songs heavy were they ever that heavy?

This song is a return to the musical roots for SA, it's going to be great heard live, and like the OP, I got my Manchester ticket yesterday. It's been ages since I saw them live, but if they are any where near as good as they were we'll have a great time.

They were heavier when they started. Listen to Selling Jesus, for example.

I think most people know Weak, but not much else from them.

I seen Skin live twice on her solo tours, and she was awesome. A friend I work with is a fan, too, and he said her solo shows were on a par with Skunks, so hopefully they'll be as energetic and as awesome as ever.

The new album is called Smashes and Trashes. The website is pretty cool, too.

I don't know if it's a proper album or greatest hits, though. It was meant to be a greatest hits but they say they have reformed and Mark has left Feeder to be with Skunk Anansie!

Really like the song but I just do not like her voice. I am not keen on Rock sung by women.
