Or husband, wife, partner etc. What's your song and what's the story behind it?

Me & my boyfriend, we don't have a 'song' as of yet, as we've only been together for a little longer than two months... but everytime I hear the recent 'When Love Takes Over' by David Guetta, I think of him. He strangely said the same for me! Our recent nights out together (which were fantastic & memorable) featured this song lots, which is why I think of him everytime I hear it

Our song (me and my wife) is Pretty Vacant by the Sex Pistols

The night we started going out it was playing in the background.

Shameful, sappy admission. The Cars, Drive. It was in the charts when we started out.

I don't have a partner, but I do always sing "You Are My Sunshine" to the cat. She likes it. Sometimes I alter the lyrics for her too. That counts, right?

We're not here to judge I always alter lyrics to suit whichever pet I'm singing to. I just replace random words with woof or put in their names.

Spellbound by Doves really sums up the relationship I've just come out of. Just listen to the words...it really gets my raw emotions going. There's no way I'll ever listen to that song, or the rest of the Kingdom of Rust album for that matter, without thinking of this girl as we used to have it on in the background a lot a few months ago.

My ex and I used to have two songs:

Sweet Child Of Mine (only because it was playing when we had our first kiss)

and

Ozzy Ozbourne - I Just Want You
(from one of his solo albums)

If you saw my music collection you would see why this is rather bizarre....

My husband and I we have a few.

Syd Barrett - If it's in you. - He sang it to me when he was drunk and waiting for his burger in the shop- he had a guitar and everything

Slowdive - Catch the Breeze - our first kiss went on when that was playing.

Wedding Present - Take Me. Cause of the line 'warm hands and the things you say, you get lovelier every day'

and

Wedding Present 'What have I said Now' cause it's how we are now.

'My Ship Is Coming In' by the Walker Brothers.

I drunkenly sang it to the Mrs the night we met using a flower as a microphone.
