Another SCD bugbear for me is the editing. This is probably the same for most reality shows but I don't tend to watch them. With all the hundreds of hours of footage available, why do we have to watch Lisa Snowdon fondling her bosom (yes, I'm female and jealous!) more than once? Why are some celebs deliberately shown in a good light and others in a far more negative way? I'm not a conspiracy theoretician but there does sometimes seem to be biased editing at times.

Outside SCD I hate bad spelling and grammar (can't help it!) and I don't mind men's bare feet as long as they have cut their toenails nicely - but no socks with sandals please!

I dunno the sympathy vote for Georgina and Jan that put Spoony out annoyed me in series four but I would have voted that night for Claire and Brendan because they were entertaining so that's strike one against me as far as you're concerned. I'm also one of the derided bunch who voted Mavia back in after the meltdown and I refuse to feel guilty about it because Leticia also got through on a sympathy vote when Matt DA ended up in the dance-off because it was her birthday and she was a trier and as an older contestant at a bit of a disadvantage with the latin (the paso being a very honorable exception) which I won't condemn people for doing but I get a bit sick of her supporters condemning the Mavians for unfair treatment of her when she was a beneficiary of a sympathy vote at a different time and I'm afraid it's part of the reason why I voted because I wasn't convinced her samba and AT would have been worth seeing.
At the end of the day most people at some stage or another will vote for someone for reasons other than how well they danced on the night even my father in law who got angry at the continued survival of Fiona Philips voted for Peter Schmicheal who wasn't always the best dancer on the night - in fact some weeks was bottom and he wasn't the only decent ballroom dancer to be voted through rubbish latin weeks - which is also why Tish got voted through too. Funnily enough when I put the justification of voting for Matt DA because Tish's samba and AT would have been rubbish arguement to my father in law he said "well it would have been funny" which I think nailed part of the reason for the voting behaviour he despises so much - it would explain why Georgina and Fiona got voted off just as they were starting to get better.
What I really hate is seeing people with potential go early but I don't think there's much you can do about that and not being able to save Austin really bugged me too. Yes he had a bad week but Lisa survived a bad week with the samba and was able to coast by on one good dance which is why the dance-off if it exists in the later stages ought to be done on the weakest rather than the strongest dance. Jan Ravens bugged me too - if Matt DA was a brat then at least it was understandable in a 20 year old in a middle aged woman it's just pathetic.

Great threadSCD related - I hate the fact that Tess is STILL on it and hasn't bothered to learn the opening dance step with Bruce properly, also because Tess is on it - we have to see that drip of a hubby too - why?
I hate 10's for non perfect dances, I hate the over marking so early on too.

No problem - Len definitely lost the plot last year and Brendan...well, all I can say about Brendan is he gets worse every year imho and I don't know how he gets away with it!
PS I did like him when he danced with Natasha!
I hate the see through tops they make the men wear on SCD (even the pros) - tacky, tacky, tacky!
